The Spring Branch Management District Streetscape Identity Project was undertaken with the aim of establishing a unified district identity, ensuring that residents and visitors could readily recognize their presence within the Spring Branch district. KW spearheaded the development of a comprehensive master plan covering the entire district, meticulously addressing construction in phased stages. This encompassed the preparation of 98 adopt-an-esplanade programs, enhancing community involvement and ownership. The project also entailed the design of 57 major signal intersections and 382 minor intersections, incorporating special pavers and planting plans to infuse character and coherence into the urban landscape. An interconnected system of parks was integrated seamlessly into the plan, promoting accessibility and green spaces. Furthermore, the project encompassed the enhancement of medians, streetscape elements, signage, branding, and various visual components, culminating in the installation of 74 identity markers. Emphasizing sustainability, the project maximized the utilization of natural resources and native plantings, fostering a harmonious blend of aesthetics and environmental consciousness throughout the district.
