POSITION SUMMARY
KW Landscape Architects (KW) is seeking a skilled REVIT professional to join our dynamic team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining 3D models of buildings and structures, containing comprehensive information about design, construction, and performance. These models are crucial throughout the building’s lifecycle, from design and construction to operation and maintenance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Develop and implement REVIT projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements
- Manage and oversee all aspects of REVIT project delivery, maintaining high-quality standards and meeting deadlines
- Develop and enforce REVIT standards and best practices across the organization
- Provide training and support to team members on REVIT software and BIM processes
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders for seamless project execution
- Troubleshoot and resolve REVIT-related issues and challenges
- Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in REVIT and BIM
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of REVIT models to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Develop and maintain REVIT libraries, templates, and families
- Assist in preparing project proposals, budgets, and schedules
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
- Professional licensure (e.g., Architect, Engineer) or certification (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional)
- Experience with other BIM software and tools (e.g., Navisworks, AutoCAD)
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
- Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
- Experienced with AutoCad
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Associates Degree or equivalent, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working with REVIT software
- Proven experience in managing complex REVIT projects
- Strong understanding of BIM processes and standards
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in Landscape Architecture is a plus
