Kudela & Weinheimer (K&W) had the opportunity to work with Jackson & Ryan Architects on the new Briar Club renovations. On Fourth of July weekend, the club showed off the new pool area, designed by K&W. The resort-style pool area included two new diving boards and a slide. K&W worked in multiple phases with Jackson & Ryan Architects on the 4-year long project. Below is list of K&W’s responsibilities for the entire renovation:
- Irrigation design
- Heated and chilled resort-style pool with two diving boards, a slide and surrounding landscape design (see image below)
- Heated and chilled 6-lane lap pool with surrounding landscape design (see image below)
- Outdoor eating areas
- Shade structures
- Designated kid-friendly pool with frog art sculptures (see image below)
- Lighting design
The Briar Club offers members a home away from home with its countless aquatic activities, fitness centers, tennis courts, gourmet dining options and more. With that in mind, K&W designed the resort-style pool as family friendly with something for everyone while giving the adults their own separate oasis. Designing an area where members and their families will grow and create lifelong memories is what our landscape architects strive to achieve.
