Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, Texas A&M University, 2009
Minor in Urban & Regional Sciences
Tyson graduated with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and a Minor in Urban and Regional Sciences from Texas A&M University, where he was awarded the ASLA National Student Certificate of Honor. He joined the Kudela & Weinheimer team shortly after, and quickly became acclimated to the work environment. Tyson has been involved in a wide range of project types and scales at all stages of the construction process. His K&W portfolio includes numerous multifamily projects, both on structure and traditional construction, master planned communities, streetscapes, and mixed use retail.
In 2014 Tyson’s role at K&W switched to focus on design and site control. He is responsible for carrying many projects through the schematic design phase, and ensuring that design intentions are communicated and coordinated well with other discipline teams. His attentiveness to detail and ability to problem solve ensures that designs are as functional as they are beautiful.
“The K&W portfolio is so diverse and I love getting to be involved with such a wide range of projects. I’m looking forward to diversifying my own experiences and knowledge.”
Outside of work, Tyson enjoys an active lifestyle of running and playing as many sports as time will allow. He also is dedicated to serving with his Church.
Tyson grew up in the country with chickens, horses, rabbits, ducks and dogs.
