Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture, Texas Tech University, 2012
Dustin was born in San Antonio, Texas and grew up in the small town of La Vernia. While at Texas Tech, he became interested in regional planning and revitalizing older districts/corridors—this led him to intern with the City of San Antonio Department of Planning and Community Development. He played a significant role in the cities strategic revitalization plans for the Walzem Road Area Business District along with other revitalization projects. Dustin also spent 2 months in the Yucatan Peninsula studying landscape architecture while climbing Mayan ruins, visiting colonial cities, swimming in cenotes and sleeping in hammocks. Throughout his five years at K&W, Dustin has worked on multi-family & retail developments, master planned communities and now carries the construction administration role in the San Antonio office.
When Dustin isn’t busy designing, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Erica and traveling to different CRAFT breweries and Texas BBQ joints. He has a passion for brewing beer and loves to talk about beer any chance he gets.
Dustin grew up racing Quarter Midgets and Legend cars across the country until he was 19 years old. He also considers himself an advanced level table tennis player.
