Sara Krouskop
After graduating from Rutgers University with a degree in Landscape Architecture, Sara Krouskop moved to Houston with her husband, Mark. Being a transplant, Sara uses her yard as a laboratory to learn about Houston plants. Her love for the outdoors has always been an integral part of her journey to becoming a landscape architect. Starting from the little town of New River in Arizona, Sara and her siblings dug in dirt mounds to make roads and tunnels for our toy cars. As a teenager in New Jersey, her mother would take day her on trips to estates, parks and historic sites in New England, giving her an appreciation for the outdoor built environment.
When free-time permits, Mark and Sara get out on the town with friends, volunteer at church or laugh at our three ferrets.
“My journey to KW was unexpected, but the experience has been invaluable.”
